Ready Player One

A fun adventure story crafted by one of the greatest storytellers of the genre. It was an exciting story, the pop culture references were quite fulfilling for this nerd, and the gamer in me loved the "video game" of it all.

An animation masterpiece, I understand why this might be too much for some people as there is a lot of visual effects and CGI elements displayed in this film, but I thought it was the near perfect amount of stimulating, a wonderfully crafted chaos that didn’t feel messy at all when I was watching. There was also a lot of references which was cool. The only bad thing I can say about this is that it has a lazy story, if you check out ProZD’s video on this movie then you’ll know what I’m talking about. However that didn’t take away from my enjoyment and I would still highly recommend this to pretty much anyone. 10/10

With one of the most unique premises for a film, and with some of the most memorable and entertaining scenes in any Spielberg film I have ever seen, added with some of the most excellent visuals to rival most movies coming out today. Ready Player One stands as a cinematic popcorn experience for everyone to enjoy both Hardcore nerds and casuals alike!

This romp through a virtual world that's packed to the brim with 80s and 90s nostalgia is an enjoyable watch. The digital effects are quite spectacular, especially the recreation of the Overlook Hotel. At the heart of the story, a line is drawn between the time people spend playing in the OASIS and actually living in the real world, a parallel that's all too familiar today.

Good movie, very different from the book in my opinion, but still a good movie.

Through this film's absolutely insane visuals, great acting, and some complete creative, Ready player one is a enjoyable watch from a legendary director.
