Rebel Moon - Part One: Director's Cut

I watch movies for pure entertainment value! Who cares if all the ideas aren't original...I don't! The sets, CGI, acting, the script, etc. were all great to me. I'm not a nerd about things so don't call me a purist. Just call me a sci-fi fan who loves a good hero, a good team of comrades, a good villain, and a desperate cause to bind it all together! There was some great depth in the director's cut and good character building. I streamed part 1 and part 2 directors cut on Netflix. I can't wait on part 3!

Stop with the Directors cuts man. Its ridiculous. You had your full power and didn’t get it done the first time. We’ll not be watching the “directors cut” to the second film. I wonder when he will start doing executive and final boss cuts.

Visually pleasing, a bit overboard with blood, in depth story telling.

Good acting, the story may not be the most creative but it clearly looks awesome and feels immersive and convincing. It is brutal but the story is brought to the viewer in such a convincing way that it is actually pretty stunning. I did enjoy it but I can understand why people may not like it...It is pretty heavy

Wreszcie coś oryginalnego. Obecnie producenci tylko "odgrzewają kotlety" i rzadko zdarza się coś oryginalnego. Film ma kilka braków fabularnych ale mimo wszystko warto oglądać...

This is the film Netflix should release from the start, along with the censored version, for general audiences. It might have been better received if it had been done this way. I hope they give this version a chance, as it shows the true tragic and dark vision of this space epic.

This movie was very good but to be really immersed in the full story you really need the directors cut. It elevates it to a a deeper level and gives so much richer context that it is like 2 totally different movies. Any one that likes a feel of the flavor of War hammer military set to a an epic outclassed rebellion with an amazing back story will love this movie. The cinematography and musical underscore immersed you and made you appreciate that this was intended to be a space opera of epic proportions. If you want a decent movie that looks great watch the edited version but if you want to be enraptured and have an experience that moves you watch the directors cut. Great acting on the part of the leads will have invested in their struggle rooting for the hero and despising the villain and the mother world.

Best movie ever. Absolute must see

Netflix should have released this version only. So much better. Operatic and intense. Loved it.

The original cut was not so good, but director's cut is amazing! a different movie, way deeper, slower paced, way more atmospheric.
