Righteous Kill
audience Reviews
, 37% Audience Score- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsWith two legends leading this billing you would expect at least an average movie but that just isn't the case. This movie should be much better than it is.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsI think we were all expecting a better film from this duo. A fairly mediocre film.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsI actually liked this movie and am waiting to watch it again. However, I've been waiting an awfully long time. Frankly the reviews are overly critical or they themselves have seen to many cop stories. That said, I remember being in awe when the truth comes out and I also worry if the good guy ever gets out of the jam he's ultimately in. Of course I went into the movie fresh, and not really looking for a twist until apparently I missed all the clues.. But honestly I got all the ups and downs and the surprises and horror the Director hopes to invoke in the viewer. So frankly, I need to see this again to understand why it was given so many "worse than mediocre" reviews. And I remember liking the banter the two have early on in the film.. hmm. Was I that bored or were you guys expecting too much??
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsThere's the making of a better movie here but this felt rushed and spotty, like it was trying to be too fresh and creative with the ‘bad cop, badder cop' routine but things become a bit more justified and make a bit more sense by the time the credits roll.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsFrom The Godfather, to Heat... to THIS THING?! C'mon Pacino! C'Mon De Niro! Lack of money, maybe?
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI get why the reviews were pretty bad..the obligatory gorgeous lady cop! But I love those two guys and would pay to watch them eat soup!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsHave you ever wondered what it would be like to have Pacino and Deniro do a B Movie or straight to video release? This is it. It's ok. Not very rewatchable. Grade: 72/100 C-
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsA let down.. did anyone read the script, just because you have a great cast doesn't mean you have a great film. A crime drama were who you think is doing the murders, is! was that meant to be a twist.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsI was surprised how much I liked It after the poor reviews, seems like mass band wagon jumping. The story intriguing, the Direction very good, the acting excellent as you would expect, & the dialogue slick & cynical. The only disappointment was the ending, a bit too sudden & rushed. Ignore the critique & enjoy.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsJust better rewatch Heat
