R.I.P.D.

R.I.P.D. is a pretty big misfire. This really stinks, because it does have a really cool concept, and a great cast. The cast is probably one of the only good aspects of the film, with Ryan Reynolds, Jeff Bridges, and Kevin Bacon actually doing a really good job, despite being give some pretty bad material to work with. I'd be lying if I said I didn't laugh at all during this movie, because it does actually have a few clever jokes. Other than that, though, this is an awful movie. The special effects are terrible, and the action isn't anything special either. The big problem is the writing. They try to do a buddy-cop mystery in here, but the mystery isn't captivating at all, and the story just feels like, they chase this dead guy with some low brow humor, and they either die or get away, and than it repeats itself. A lot of the humor in here is just some really low brow gross-out humor, and some stuff that's just plain weird and not funny. The movie is also kind of forgettable, which I guess is kind of good thing, because I don't why you'd want to remember a lot of this.

It's kinda like M.I.B. except with a really stupid plot.

I really dont understand all the negativity?. I thought this was great fun start to end and had me in stitches pretty much the whole way through. Yeah CGI is a little dated but this is very much an underrated gem and it doesn't take itself too seriously but doesn't need to. Great cast and plot. Will be in my replay list for sure!

This movie is a turn your mind off and have fun movie. Yes it follows a familiar albeit ridiculous story. There are some great one liners and physical gags with terrible CGI. You're not watching this and expecting Oscar caliber performances, you know it's bad and that is what makes it so good.....so guilty pleasure, good.

I thought that this movie kept me on my toes, as well as kicking ass and giving me greatness. Would recommend this movie to any Ryan Reynolds fan.

I genuinely don't know why people hate this so much. It's kooky fun. I grew up in the 1980s watching re-runs of Randall and Hopkirk so this is gold. Silly and fun.

R.I.P.D é uma mistura total de Hellboy, MIB - homens de preto com Supernatural! Esse filme foi o pior com toda sua falta de inovação. Sem contar que o roteiro é fraco e não traz algo extraordinário para o expectador. Mais um filme da sessão da tarde.
