On a “friday night”, Ghost brings together their greatest classics with a chilling sound. I've never doubted Tobias Forge's theatrical skills, but in this film they are reaffirmed for all the world to see. The band deserves a lot of recognition for their great work, especially in the performance of “Year Zero”, which is frighteningly incredible. At first I thought that the storytelling scenes (perhaps I think were a little too long) might hinder my experience with the concert itself, but no, the truth is that Cardinal Copia is pure charisma. Amid the excitement, smiles, singing, head bobbing and reflections, “Rite Here Rite Now” really lifts the energy in the room with all that creative aesthetic and interaction with the audience, making you want to experience the show in person one day. It also has a clear message that everything is instant, so why should I care so much? Life is here and now, so all I needed was a talented nutter on stage to remind me. Sensational!

Ghost and the concert footage are fantastic. I just dont happen to like live concert dvds that are ruined with bits cut out of the concert. A good case in point with this is the song Watcher In The Sky, a fantastic track but which is absolutely ruined by unneccessary yapping by the Cardinal and Nihil in some trunk or something. I just dont want to particularly watch that song again in that guise. Miasma was also ruined and Mary on a Cross is a f***ing cartoon. Why couldnt that be added on in the bonus section of the dvd like The Future is a Foreign land is? Wouldn't have had a problem with all the guff if an option to see the concert uninterrupted was there. As it is, for me, Ghost are a fantastic band but this video of a concert that has been mutilated by Tobias and an arty farty director, is not so fantastic... Given it 3 stars, would have been an easy 5 stars if an uninterrupted concert option was there. Also the sound on the bluray edition is of a very low volume. Faulty pressing???

A great way for anyone to enjoy a Ghost concert with some extra humor added in. One of the greatest bands in the past 20 years putting on a truly entertaining show.
