, 34% Audience Score- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsFailed dramedy in 2 hours and 1 minute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsSo you've seen Scorsese' 'The Aviator' version with DiCaprio's intense version of Howard Hughes. In this you get Beatty's crackpot loony version of Hughes. Somewhere in the middle of both movies is the truth. This was a great watch.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsMore humorous than I expected. It's kind of a mess, but I still admire Beatty's bizarre vision.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLOL, the funniest 02 hours: and 01 minute ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsIntelligent work, intriguing, has a touch of class by a very noted director and producer - not the easiest material for mass audiences, but still worth watching twice.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsGreat cast and story was ok overall, but, it seemed to poke fun at Howard Hughes in a quirky style. Lilly Collins & Alden Ehrenreich carried the film
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThe writing lets everyone involved down, not quite finding an interesting story. That said it is quite watchable due to a star making performance by Lily Collins.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsPredictable movie about an uninteresting topic
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsA charming movie about career, love, accident and forgiveness, courage, and moving to a big city. First movie of its kind I have watched. I imagine similar to la la land. Believable characters, real as if in the flesh, but even the most stolid characters have subtly charming and amusing moments. The song will stay in my head for a long long time. It is as if story writers came up with the song and lyrics first before trying to find a story to fit it. The plot does not feel twisted nor too simple—it is very organic and natural, I was not even aware of the plot until the end. The cinematic aspects were gorgeous.
