Run the Race

Unequivocally a message-pushing drama, but one with a subtler touch and more artistic merit than many of its thematically linked predecessors.

Run the Race has enough of a shaggy, low-key likability that it makes you wish it were better.

"Run the Race" lacks the specificity that would make it feel real to the audience.

"Run the Race" won't convert any nonbelievers, or even spark a "Hmmm!" type of fleeting insight into the nature of faith, but for Christian faith-based families, it'll be quite satisfying.

It's a sincere work, even if we remain unconverted.

The film sends a number of noble and poignant messages, but a better script and story would have helped them stick.

A great story combined with great performances makes "Run the Race" this year's "I Can Only Imagine." Tim Tebow knew what he was doing when he attached his name to this project.
