Runner Runner

A bit of underrated movie in my opinion, story was a little predictable. However I still enjoyed the premise.

a film on which the critics have been much too harsh. It's not the film of the year but a good little thriller, unpretentious, modern and in tune with the times, much too underrated

It starts as a regular thriller, but it loses strength as it goes.

An all star cast, with a great story line and plot but the movie just wasn't that good.

Un film che vuole essere troppe cose, e finisce per non fare nulla bene; per diventare un ibrido che mischia numerosi elementi senza mai affrontarne uno con impegno. Si parla di poker, di gioco d'azzardo, di frode e di corruzione; si affrontano posizioni lavorative sconosciute senza entrare nel dettaglio e pure la lovestory è appena abbozzata e chiaramente forzata per rientrare nei pochi minuti a disposizione. Condiamo il tutto con le scadenti interpretazioni di Justin Timberlake e di Gemma Arterton e lo spreco è condito.

The movie started out pretty good but of course the 2nd half was ridiculous. If you just need something to watch and waste time then this movie will do.

It's a shameless copy of Grisham's The Firm. Poorly made.

Not bad but really hated the ending. Guess the moral is...no morals?

Its a thriller that lacks the thrills. Ben Affleck is a great actor but he is far from that in this movie.

Critics must not have watched the same movie I did, because this was definitely one of the best movies I've ever seen. I never really liked Justin Timberlake until this movie.
