Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse

Honestly it's one of the most genuinely funny films I've seen, the humour is crass but tactful, the characters are somewhat relatable, and I cannot lie, I wasnt expecting a good story but it was fantastic. Genuinely a 10/10 must see. It's zombieland with an injection of fast paced humour and gratuitous violence. Love it

I just saw a brief clip of this on instagram and took a chance…went in with low expectations but holy crap it had me and my friends cramp with laughter in a way we hadn’t in ages. How was this not as popular as it should’ve been? It’s easily up there with Shawn of the dead! Awesome zombie flick!

I seen this cringeworthy bore-fest back when it came out and found it to be extremely mediocre, even as a massively biased zombie nerd. Almost ten years later, after seeing this movie plastered on every single Reddit "must watch zombie movies" discussion as if it were some underrated hidden gem... I decided to give it another shot. I wanted to enjoy this movie so bad but ended up even more disappointed than I was the first time around. This is another generic late night dude-bro comedy from 2015, just with a zombie coat of paint. The entire driving force of the main plot is our main protagonist(s) (aside from survival) trying to get the hot girl, which I'm sure you've seen in any other cheap lazy Netflix comedy. The scene where our protagonists are stuck in a jail cell surrounded by infected is just about the only entertaining part of this mess. It takes FOREVER for this movie to get started... which is fine if done right, look at the 2004 Dawn of the Dead reboot and the extremely uncomfortable atmosphere it builds in the beginning. This movie however has little to no atmosphere and chooses instead to indulge in cheap thrills like sneaking alcohol as a teenager, hot chicks, and yes... boobs. lots of boobs. Which I'm a fan of myself, but not if they're the only thing going on in your HOUR AND A HALF movie. Seems to me this was made for preteens with restricted internet access who have to resort to creative ways to see breasts... and if that's the case, you can do much better than this. Watch Shaun of the Dead or the first Zombieland instead if you want to see how a zombie-comedy is done correctly.

How is this rated so poorly? One of the BEST horror comedies I have ever seen. As a sh*tty horror movie connoisseur, I know bad horror, and this isn't it. I laughed my t*ts off!

How is this getting bad ratings it's exactly what it's intended to be. Hilarious movie that I definitely would say is a must see for any fans of the genre. Had me crying laughing not once but twice.

This was genuinely the best film I have ever seen on accident. life changing. amazing. heart moving. warming. emotional. 10/10 packed with drama phenomenal and boobs?? Carter is so me... :pppp pleasse make more movie .... or ill get angry x
