Secret Agent Dingledorf and His Trusty Dog Splat

I don't actually want to be harsh or mean in my criticism of this movie. This is a low-budget, indie movie that got a one week test screening, and it's more like a low quality tv movie that got lucky. The best thing about it is the professionally done posters. The film immediately opens with an overabundance of stock sound effects and clichéd music and it continues using them throughout the movie. There is little to no continuity in the editing and the effects are cheap. The plot is formulaic and the acting is laughable. They don't even spell the dogs name right in the credits! You'd forget there even is a dog character as it does nothing! Again, I don't want to harp on this movie too hard because they had to have no budget, and its a movie made specifically for kids, and for what it's worth they at least tried to make a movie. Is it a bad movie? Absolutely. But its not cynical and as far as cheaply made movie go, you could do far worse (e.g. Birdemic).

A kids movie. The title sez it all. Silly spoof, but made more sense than a lot of Ho'wood movies I've seen lately. Only saw it cuz my AMC A-LIST, August 2021, cuz wanted to get out of the August heat and rest in the theater's plush recliner lounger.

A lot of fun with a good underlying theme for kids.

A great family film! The cartoon and campy styling of the movie was very fun. I can't wait for the sequel! SUPPORT SMALL FILMS!
