See How They Run

, 69% Audience Score- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThis was a very cute murder mystery satire and a nice love letter to Agatha Christie. The movie has fun playing with murder mystery cliches while still having some nice twists and nuance with the characters. Saoirse Ronan is adorable as the enthusiastic earnest rookie who’s sweet as a button and has an infectious amount of charm and has great chemistry with Sam Rockwell’s tired cynical veteran inspector. Adrian Brody was fun as the posthumous playwright director and the rest of the cast did a great job. The movie isn’t on the same level as Agatha Christie’s original works, but it’s aware of this and revels in its earnest admiration and playful scrutiny of her beloved literature. It’s definitely the most underrated movie of the year so far!
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsLove the cast and comedy is perfect but it's missing original feels and has moments that feel like they don't belong in the movie but the jokes and hilarious situations make the physical comedy unique and the strength of each characters personality can easily get watered down by other low personalities characters which make it easier to process each development of each character and the fight scenes and chases keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what's gonna happen next and the set is so realistic and feels so real including the acting it just makes it seem like reality and it makes you question everything you see in the movie it is a typical Agatha Christie copy but does better than the others and actually mentions it and the movie breaks the 4th Wall alot but not in a good way but definitely worth a watch cuz after one watch you'll have to watch it 2 more times
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsAny movie with Adrien Brody or Sam Rockwell is good. Put them together with Saoirse Ronan and you know you have a hit. This is a great murder mystery comedy with a jazzy overtone set in 1950s England. Nicely stylized and beautifully textured and well edited with just the right timeline.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI loved this film! Classic murder mystery, great characters.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsMy husband and I saw this just after directing a summer community theater production of "The Mousetrap." So, we loved this sendup, both where it includes lines from the script and where it mostly departs for great comic effect. The cast was wonderful. We especially enjoyed Ronan, but we always appreciate her whenever we are fortunate enough to see her on screen.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThis was a fun, funny, Agatha Christie-style mystery. The large cast of characters and lengthy investigation unfolded kind of like a sitcom.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsPerfection is an overused word but definitely the right word for this film!
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsIt had its ups and downs. I got kind of lost towards the end though. Not a bad movie but not one I would want to watch over and over again.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThis felt like 70% Wes Anderson?
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars41 minutes in I had to give up. Just too tedious to stick with. Bad jokes that are not funny, characters that are painfully one dimensional, and honestly not even interested in who is the killer. Maybe I'll give it another try in a day or two but I can't imagine anything rescuing this one.
