I enjoyed this movie very much, I have watched it more than once. I found it to be moving and a great message in a world of movies that seems to rely more on special effects than anything else.

A different blend of comedy/drama, brilliantly written and directed by Ally Walker. Sure there are some minor character flaws but the story/plot moves along nicely and emotionally invests the audience in the transition. Strong cast. Definitely a film worth watching.

There is a reason why I don't base my viewing of movies on "critics." I would have sat through some really awful films and missed out on some great finds. There is a quote, "if you judge a fish by it's ability to climb a tree it will live its whole life thinking it's stupid." You simply can't compare all movies to big budget "razzle dazzle you" films or we'd miss out on a lot! One critic said, "Rather oddly titled for what's basically a sentimental family pic," I'm just scratching my head wondering if we saw the same film??? The movie addressed moments (past, present and future) that dealt with all 3 of those elements. It is a movie about the family dynamic, but I think even more than that it's about humanity in general (the way we live, the relationships we have throughout our lives, how we deal with day to day moments and the questions we have about the next life). Some of the issues have been represented in other movies (bullying, homosexuality, terminal illness, family dynamics) but does that mean we need to just stop making movies about these things? I'd say no more so than we need to stop making movies about super hero's or politics. The Audience scoring of this movie speaks volumes about the creative talent of Ally Walker who served as both writer and director for this film.

Un título que no viene al caso por completo, un drama que no acaba de cuajar, rebuscado contar de anécdotas. Pudo ser buena, se queda en hallmark.
