Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
audience Reviews
, 98% Audience Score- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsPhenomenal movie! The acting was amazing, choreography was top-tier, the cinematography was beautiful and epic, some VFX could have used some more work, but what makes this movie so great is how 'it stands out from / different it feels' to other Marvel movies. Overall, movie was goated!
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsTop tier choreography! The visuals are really impressive and the story is executed very well. What a way to introduce this character to the MCU!
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsShang-Chi is a breath of fresh air in the MCU, blending martial arts action, heartfelt storytelling, and stunning visuals. Simu Liu shines in the lead role, bringing charm, depth, and humor. The fight choreography is some of the best Marvel has ever done, and the cultural representation adds a rich, meaningful layer. It’s exciting, emotional, and fun from start to finish. Nearly perfect — just wanted a bit more from the villain. Still, a top-tier Marvel experience!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI had watched this together with my mother, and we both agree that this movie was an absolute blast to watch! It had it's very cool, but also funny moments that we both really enjoyed together.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA pretty great martial arts-infused science fantasy blockbuster that's undermined by a generic third act.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThis movie was wack feels a fantasy from the 90s. It's like u got never ending stories and Shanghai knights together.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsShang Chi is an emotional and action packed movie that you will thoroughly enjoy. It introduces a well built father son dynamic, has amazing action sequences that utilize Kung Fu very well and introduces a magical world in an intriguing way. Awkwafina's humour can feel slightly on the nose and force, but it lands most of the time. Trevor Slattery's appearance is a fun nod to Iron Man 3, and the movie redeems the Mandarin story line by giving us a much darker and better version of him. Totally recommend this.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThis movie was so good, the choreography was absolutely amazing and the cgi was so good I definitely recommend this
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsNow this movie was hilarious! I loved it! Definitely worth a watch.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThis film is worthy of a watch based on its corigraphy alone, the martial arts are entertaining and engaging, helped by the camerawork capturing it all without constant cuts (sadly a dying art). Performances were serviceable, I found the lead played by Simu Liu charming enough of a superhero protagonist. I hate being unoriginal but aqwafina is not a good actress at all, I found her comedic styling as a support to quickly become a truly moribund display.
