She's Dating the Gangster

, 76% Audience Score- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsGo Sexy! Go Sexy! Go Sexylove! LOL A Filipino rom-com at the height of the Kathryn Bernardo / Daniel Padilla "love team" powers. Flashbacks are wonky and this movie's depiction of a gangsta is quite tame. As typical with Filipino cinema, scenes ran too long and the storyline was jumpy. The basketball action was weak, but the Sexylove chant was ROTF ridiculous funny. There could have been 4 endings until the actual ending on the bench. But wait that's not the ending either! Here's the complexity of Philippines cinema formula!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIt's not really a 5/5 but it's my fave Filipino RomCom so yeah... But perhaps it's a 4.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSo unique, fun, and fresh!Unlike any other movie I have seen, absolutely jaw dropping film.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsA very touching love story, the storyline is good and makes me can't get over it
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsReally good! Although the story can be really confusing at times like the fact that they used the same actors for younger version of the dad while he was playing his son at the same time. Same thing with the girl. But overall liked this movie very much.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThis movie actually has a nice love story to tell with a story basis from Whattpad phone application which had strong avid followers makes it more familiar with the public. Plus it also has a strong casts backed by the solid loveteam tandem of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla makes it a hit movie to watch. The romance story is like The Notebook (2004) slash Filipino film Blue Moon (2006) mixed together with a different twist and updated for modern generations which I see no reason for every fan of romantic movies to watch in cinemas. The film and its story actually served a different kind of dish for this kind of predictable movie but unfortunately the film still suffers the formulaic romance movie that I already see in other Filipino romance movie like make the girl kilig, date her with pakipot moves, usual corny romantic lines, finding your knight shining armor, etc. Good thing is that it has unique plot and story to tell. I'm also glad that Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta was also in the lead to support Padilla-Bernardo loveteam. Mind you, Gomez and Zulueta tandem as loveteam still has a charm and unfading. And they proved it in this movie though with a supporting role but it a notable impact. She's Dating a Gangster could shed tears and becomes melodramatic for some who could relate to its story of undying and unfinished love but at the same time still entertaining for those who are not fan of type of movie.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsNot a fan of Filipino love stories but this ain't so bad after all, actually it's good. There's a feel of Korean influences but it's worked out fine, just take away those cheesy lines and the overuse of tragic plots, it could have been better.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsShe's Dating the Gangster [PH, 2014] It was good when it started light, but too much illnesses, deaths & product placements spoiled it. 6/10
