Show Dogs

It's a really, really lame, limp movie that isn't funny.

Packed with forgettable wisecracks, this is a very American brand of children's entertainment, crass and overbearing but harmless.

There are lots of comic moments at this dog show. Part of the humour is the precise reflection of canine behaviour.

The fluff factor may sell this mutt movie to smaller viewers, but it has no business in the winner's circle.

It all comes back to the fact that Show Dogs is a movie for children that seems interested in pushing a plot that normalizes unwanted sexual touching.

Arnett has the terse air of a man doing anything he can to keep up with his alimony payments...

...a second-rate, low-rent disaster that fares poorly even by the standards of movies of this ilk.

There are at least 15 dog movies on Netflix and Miss Congeniality and you can watch all of them in the month free trial, rather than spend money to watch that piece of dog excrement that is Show Dogs.

Grab the kiddos and head out to see this one, especially if little Joey has always wanted to feast his eyes on a grown man waxing a dog's testicles.

While Will Arnett is the only one who is showing effort, Show Dogs is a disposable family feature that may not be the worst in show but still not one to ever recommend.
