Equal parts boring and stupid. The movie has a blue tint to make you think it takes place in a cold Winter, but it's obvious it was filmed in a warm climate. The dialogue is bad, the kills are uninspired... it stinks.

ya know what? i didn't hate it. i saw a few other reviews that said this was a remake? i guess I'll have to find the original, because even though the dialog/acting was absolutely atrocious, i really loved the santa/kill scenes. overall I'm not sad i watched it.

Silent Night is not a remake to the original deadly night the writing is so bad and naughty and it felt like Hallmark Christmas holiday film.

Decided to put on a nice little Christmas horror and Silent Night is what I chose. Boy, am I glad i did. This is a fun, gory flick with Malcolm McDowell and Jaime King. We get kills, boobs, and a killer Santa Claus that doesn't hold back. (https://foreverfinalgirl.com/silent-night/)

A dark comedy has humour... This is just a sick idea for a film. How did this get though the first... Is this a good idea... Filter? Remarkable

After watching Silent Night, Deadly Night! I decided to watch it's remake, Silent Night (2012). It was a good remake but it failed to live upto the expectations of the original. It was good and enjoyable at some points but most of the time you will feel bored. Movie had some problems with pace and setting of story. Till the end of the movie, you don't know killer's intentions or what made him insane. In the original, everything was shown step by step which helped audience to feel what's happening with the main lead but that was not the case with this one. They blended the ideas of the original and some new ideas but the end result could have been better. Overall, this remake proved to be little disappointing to me. The original is sets high bar and this movie did gave a good try to touch the bar but failed to.

I'm surprised this movie didn't have a wider release; I only discovered it recently. That being said -I'm glad that I did! This is definitely one of the better made Christmas horror films. It's trashy, exploitative, violent, gory, and fun -just like the original. Jaime King is a Scream Queen.

Goofy remake with little in common with the original. Malcolm McDowell is a blast and it has a nice sense of humor about itself. Far more enjoyable than the original.

OK, but mediocre, tongue-in-cheek horror parody delivers some cheap humor and gory scenes, but is utterly forgettable.

Para pasar el rato y no ver de nuevo la misma película, no está mal. Pero no aporta nada nuevo y tampoco supera a la versión original a pesar de ser más ambiciosa argumentalmente.
