Not sure what movie most of these people saw, but it was everything I wanted to see in a popcorn, disaster flick. It was exciting and had beautiful effects. I wish I could ride a monorail like in the move! Minus the erupting volcano of course! Also, the dubbing was great compared to a lot of dubbed movies I’ve seen. Fun movie!

It's dubbed as bad as the cheesy action, I kept waiting for godziwwa to rise from the ocean, or maybe he does in the second half I don't know and never will cos I don't care about this terrible movie not one bit of king king poo.

China's first big-budget disaster pic - think "Volcano" but on an island. The disaster scenes are rather impressive, but the rest of the film around the mayhem is barely even there. Which is a shame, since the fun parts of the film are fun.

I loved this from start to finish! It's the usual storyline of a greedy businessman and woman, trying to cut corners and ignore safety concerns. But this type of storyline is a classic and it didn't disappoint. Lots of jaw dropping action and emotionally intense scenes. Watch and enjoy the ride!

I hated this movie. It made me cry the entire time. But it was good.

It was just meh. It had so many of the typical tropes you expect in Chinese B action movies. A few white faces to draw in the western audience, lots of family centric action scenes, & the need to suspend belief at almost every turn. Still it's interesting enough to keep your attention.

Wow this was bad. Not worth my time going into.

Wow talk about a dumpster fire, out of the pan and into the fire. And into the fire, and into the fire. These people had no less than 10,000 lucky rabbits feet up there butts. Some of the coldest liquid lava ever. They are literally on fire with zero sense of urgency. This was pretty bad.
