couldn’t finish the movie. characters lack common sense. excessive, unnecessary, and annoying kissing sounds 25 mins into the movie. never made that many smacking noises simply kissing someone on the lips. bad acting. didn’t like it.

The name is very apt. It'll put you to sleep. Intriguing premise spoilt by pedestrian writing and an utterly silly climax.

The movie was good. The ending was a bit odd and didn’t really make much sense. But it was entertaining, I am a bit surprised the audience score was only 17%

Above average horror, though it eventually shows the monster, which takes the edge off the fright.

Tentativo terribile di horror in cui probabilmente l'unica cosa a funzionare è l'incipit con il racconto del fantomatico demone del sonno. Nel momento stesso in cui il film inizia, si fatica a trovare qualcosa di positivo. Trama sconnessa, scontata e personaggi terribilmente noiosi; una serie notevole di clichè tipici del genere e soprattutto una Maggie Q che dà vita ad una protagonista di una debolezza spaventosa. Non si trova un senso al film.

Approach this movie with little to no expectation and you will be able to slog through it. The acting was just ok, enough to pass as a good B-movie at best.

The story was not a bad film at all, a film that was made according to an actual event gives this film more juice, but that is unfortunately probably all that this film gives. Be sure not to be afraid. There are a few lessons in the film, but they are few and very weak. On the other hand, I have to say that I was not bored with the film and maybe that the film offered more than I expected. It's just a pity that the creators of this film did not care more about its elaboration, then it could be a great film, but even so, I think that this film will definitely find its fans.

It had a very good plot and the twists and turns and it really kept you on your toes but there were a lot of slow drive points as well. I really praise Maggie Q's acting in this. Her acting has just gotten better and better and hopefully she'll start getting bigger and better rolls. Watching her in Designated Survivor I think really emphasized what she can do as an actress in not only action, but intensity. She manages to carry this movie pretty much on her shoulders, and except for the ending it was written and shot very well for the low budget that it had. I recommend this is a watch once only movie, but it had a great plot to it.
