Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse boldly throws out any restraint and leans full-tilt into the zaniness of its visually and thematically kaleidoscopic world.

Animated Spider-Man sequel is worth the price of admission in this four-star movie.

Extraordinary animation and muscular transformations make the continuing Spidey saga(s) of Brooklyn teen Miles Morales and his family, friends and foes even more of a marvel.

With its impressive animation and star-studded voice cast including Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld and an excellent Oscar Isaac, the film was a joyride from start to finish.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a triumph of a sequel, a triumph of a comic-book film, of animation, and so much more that takes every single aspect of the first film, remixes it, and improves upon it.

Hard to find much to critique in the new Sony film, given the clear attention to detail given to nearly every aspect of the film. It is literally dripping with artistic fervor, combined with an all-star cast that is still somehow subtle and not overdone.
