- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars2 awesome directors took inspiration from a short & made an awesome movie. When you meet anything about this movie, this is something that can be deemed awesome. The acting/casting really worked with Tom Holland really sounding like a young person & Will Smith (once Oscar from DreamWorks "Shark Tale" long ago) being a mature character (my favourite) who looks exactly like himself (& I saw a Men in Black reference). Will Smith is always himself. It was so excellent is having a mature design with a mature character coming across a goofy creative character putting themselves in goofy situations (humourous). Having a different form is another way a spy can hide themself. Even animated movies with mature tones may be funny which even engaged with some cheesy jokes such as "Bond, Hydrogen Bond" & the best one being "I peed in the pool". In the end, commiting anything deemed wierd can do goodness taking away any bad people. And you gave things up to do so. Since its other movies, Blue Sky Studios (who got injured sometimes) came so far until it went defunct & 20th Century Studios barely did similar things. Speaking of 20th, the Simpsons short "Playdate With Destiny" sh/could have co-insided with this movie instead of Pixar's "Onward" also starring Tom Holland. THIS DID NOT DESERVE TO BOMB AT THE BOX OFFICE!

- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsA fun movie for kids and adults alike it keeps your attention with action and jokes that aren’t so kiddie that adults hate it but kids will enjoy and laugh
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsThis movie is a lot of fun. Way more action-thriller than you might expect from an animated film that's aimed primarily at kids. It plays the whole Mission Impossible spy-style trope surprisingly well, and it’s genuinely entertaining. The first third is the funniest part, full of laughs, and then it shifts gears as the plot picks up and things get a bit more serious. But it’s never too heavy-handed. The humor is decently consistent throughout, and it’s not one of those children's movies that tries to pull a lot of heartstrings. It’s got enough charm and wit to keep you engaged without needing to overdo it. The whole "unlikely pair" dynamic works. The buddy adventure is a good mix of entertaining and unexpected. Voice acting is solid, with a good amount of energy. The songs, while not exactly iconic, are catchy enough. A few of Mark Ronson’s grooves are pretty fun and danceable, though none of the melodies really stick with you. There’s one song by Will Smith at the beginning, which is... not great, but this isn't a soundtrack cartoon like say, "Trolls" or "Sing". The action and laughs are front and center, and the movie definitely delivers on that front. (Look at me reviewing an animated feature so seriously. I have too much time on my hands.)
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars"Spies in Disguise" is a delightful and imaginative animated film that pleasantly surprised me, especially considering it’s not from Disney but rather part of the Fox universe. Featuring the voices of Will Smith and Tom Holland, the movie is a blast from start to finish. The chemistry between the characters is charming, and I loved how the film showcased their unique differences and creativity. It’s definitely a family-friendly film that I would highly recommend for everyone to enjoy. The concept of turning a pigeon into a key character was both amusing and inventive, leading to a series of entertaining antics throughout the movie. The adventurous spirit of the film, combined with the witty banter between Will Smith and Tom Holland, created some of the most enjoyable and laugh-out-loud moments. Overall, I found "Spies in Disguise" to be a clever and engaging film that brilliantly utilizes its talented voice cast. It’s a refreshing take on the animated genre and something I think everyone should check out.
