"Spy Kids 3" is a rollercoaster of nostalgia that brings back childhood memories. The film's plot is thin, but it’s packed with non-stop action that keeps you entertained. Watching it again, the excessive use of green screens and dated CGI are hard to ignore, often pulling you out of the experience. However, the movie’s charm lies in its relentless energy and imaginative world. As a kid, I was captivated by the idea of entering a video game, and that sense of adventure still holds a special place in my heart. Without the nostalgia, the flaws would be more glaring, but for what it is—a fun, over-the-top ride—it still delivers on entertainment. While it’s far from a cinematic masterpiece, "Spy Kids 3" is a time capsule of early 2000s filmmaking, filled with enough heart and creativity to keep you watching.

Rodriguez showed great promise....this film extinguishes it.

This gave me a headache, but yet, I'm used to watching garbage like this.

This is a true time capsule to the wacky antics of the 2000's. Take a deep dive in to the deep fried world of "Game Over", a VR designed by the toy maker. The continuous mystery of Grampa and the toy maker's shared past is continually mysterious. It's a real blast from the past, including the real villains of the show, the pogo-toads. Mindless entertainment for the whole squad.

Buena película, mi favorita de la trilogía pero que no es la mejor por lejos. En esta tercera cinta se nos presenta una historia que, en mi opinión, es la mas entretenida de todas, viendo como Juni tiene que ir pasando de nivel en nivel para encontrar a su hermana y vencer a Toymaker. Este villano me parece bastante malo, ya que no se explican muy bien sus motivos para hacer todo lo que hace y la cinta no se centra mucho en la historia que lo vincula con el abuelo por lo que lo deja ahí sin mas. También hay que decir que la forma en la que "lo vencen" es bastante ridícula y sin sentido. Si bien es una historia con demasiadas, pero demasiadas conveniencias, se me hace una historia super interesante, entretenida y hasta épica en ocasiones. No me gusto mucho la poca presencia de Carmen y de los padres, siento que podrían haber aparecido mas siendo la ultima cinta de la trilogía y al haber sido tan importantes en esta. Por otro lado, los efectos son los peores de la trilogía, y no me gusta mucho que se haya utilizado pantalla verde en casi toda la película, y mas por la calidad de los efectos, pero ya es algo común en este tipo de películas. Me gustaron las nuevas adquisiciones en el reparto, con actores de renombre. Las actuaciones son muy buenas, principalmente las de Daryl Sabara, Alexa PenaVega, Antonio Banderas, Courtney Jines, Carla Gugino, Ricardo Montalbán, etc. Por ultimo, destacar la gran y épica escena final de la cinta, la cual si bien es un poco arruinada por la mala redención del villano, me sigue pareciendo brillante. En conclusión, una buena película que en mi opinión es un gran cierre para estos personajes y que por su entretenida historia se me hace mi cinta favorita de la franquicia, a pesar de tener bastantes conveniencias para que la trama avance. La recomiendo.
