Step Up 2 the Streets

It's better than the first one because it's half decently made all around. It starts out ok and kind of simliar to the first but it takes a different enough path and suprisngly does so in a very cohesive way at times. It never feels like stuff just happens and does a pretty good job merging the love story and dance story together without ever being that jumpy which is kind of shocking. It builds momentum pretty well up until the end where it just feels kind of clunky and the dance is alright but just drags, is just random music numbers, and just nothing that special. The music nubers are kind of mash between rap, generic cinematic numbers and rock which kind of works at times and other times it doesn't. It defintely needed a bit more distinctiveness. Low is easily the best number. The dance numbers are better in this one and while in general this is more over the top than the first one, it just has more flash, better story structure, and better pacing. Andie is better than Tatum but very hit or miss. She's good at times and other times just kind of wooden and missing the charm. Chase isn't bad and has decent chemistry with Andie but kind of a jerk that's hard to fully like at times. The teacher is so wooden and over the top as well. If you like dance flicks, a big fan of any actors in this, or the franchise than give this a watch. It's ALMOST good but by this franchises standards it is.

Fofinho, como todos os anteriores, muito musical e dançante (claro) como todos os outros da franquia, Channing Tatum novinho e gostosinho quando era novinho e tinha cabelo... Mas agradável se assistir na velocidade, 1,5 s´para acabar direitinho.... Para quem se amarra em dança, muito proveitoso, para quem não (como eu) apenas mais um filme da franquia com romance bonitinho…

It was a really good movie. Very instructive. I really liked it. I will watch it again later.Also, I really like the small details of the movie.

i absolutely loved it when i was a teen and watching it again as an adult i still enjoyed it all. great music great dancing and witty lines. what else you need from a dance movie. such a good time

The original was no classic but this is far worse.

I absolutely love this movie and cannot believe the hate it gets. It's fun, has great lines 'tastes like candy canes at Christmas' and has a solid plot as well as a great ending. I prefer it over the first.

One of my favorite teen movies from my teen years. Just the music and choreography in this sequel are the best! Truly enjoyable to this day!

It has great dance sequences. Other than the dances, it isn't very good, and the plot is thin.
