Still Breathing

Yes it's corny but it's beautifully done and stars two gorgeous actors. Very romantic.

Whether or not clairvoyance, prophetic dreams, and color symbolism occupy your reality, this film should resonate if you are open to the idea that tarnished people are still worthy of a shining love.

This is a romantic movie and such a fabulous movie I bought it even though I had to send off to Taiwan for a copy. I will not testify as to whether a person who hates romantic movies would like this but it got tears from some people and is very easy to love, even for those who usually do not like romantic stories. There are no explosions though. It is the love story of a man who is a Texas street performer and a con woman from Los Angeles who thinks falsely he is going to be a big score. She is beautiful and he is charming. Only logic stands in the way of seeing the obvious attraction. But in an odd way they do complete each other.

After watching her performance in The Keys to Tulsa, Joanna Going's participation enticed me to watch this film and I was not disappointed.

Saying this film is formulaic is an insult to bad formulas everywhere. I would say it was predictable, but it wasn't because I figured no movie could possibly be that unimaginative. It was. The only thing worse than the dreadful script of "Still Breathing" was the utter lack of chemistry between the two lead actors. That's 2 hours of my life I'll never get back.
