A very slow journey through someone going crazy due to trauma. Hard to watch.

This is one where I kept having better ideas of how the movie plot should go than it went. Was expecting more, so it ended up being kind of a let down.

Fine performances by the lead & by the little girl who is goading her on to more and more gore-ridden acts. Fun in a disgusting sort of way. Orin Domenico

While there are portions of this film that are too long, the confusion & horror make up for that. It has moments that grab & hold my attention intensely. If you enjoy psychological horror, this is for you.

Gross and hard to watch at times, but done in a really great way with amazing performances.

Very creative and visually impressive, if not very pleasant or substantial.

1 and 1/2 star for the Stop motion artistic element and creature design. Story didn't really flow well. Some scenes were just extreme grotesque without adding any value.

An excellent, creative, beautifully shot dive into mental illness. Not for the squeamish, but definitely for those who love nightmarish artistic filmmaking. Aisling Francoisi was awesome!

I’m shocked by all these negative audience reviews. The movie doesn’t hand everything to you on a platter, you have listen to and intellectually interpret the conversations, facial expressions and emotions of the characters to learn more about them and what drives them. You also need to pay attention throughout the movie to understand the ending, it’s not explained to you through some monologue. All of which personally I love and miss in most modern movies. The movie also, very successfully, slowly builds tension and unease, it is a psychological horror, not a jump scare slasher. It seems that is what a lot of people expect from a horror movie, so if that’s you, maybe do everyone a favour and skip this one. The sound design, animation, effects/gore and narrative of the main characters descent are all very well done, it’s been one of my favourite horror movies I’ve watched recently.
