, 46% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsAlways been a fan of Trevor Jackson! Loved the soundtrack as well as the casting and film overall.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsTree point pleasant
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWould see this over and over again 10/10
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsNot at all emotionally engaging, it's a distant movie that is predictable, the acting is mostly novice.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsI liked the film, it was a fun ride. The fight scenes were good and the story is about drug dealing and what happens in the end to most kingpins.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis was a good movie and the actors said that the movie had to filmed in four weeks. Not by their choice and Trevor Jackson said the character was in his late 20's but it was an update version of the Superfly movies from the 70s. I just hate that it won't be a sequel. The movie made 20 million dollars off a small budget movie.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsA bit stylized, but that was the intention, afaik. Good entertainment, in fact far better than expected!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsLiked it. The script wasn't the best. But I think the actors did the best they could do with what they had. Trevor Jackson, Jason Mitchell and Jennifer Morrison were the glue that held the plot together. It had some memorable moments in it.. I rewound a couple times. 😂 What I didn't like Is how they had the women being the weak link and snitching😒🙄that seemed like lazy writing. But I still liked it...🙂
- Rating: 1 out of 5 starsThe lead just didn't carry enough weight to exude a boss, like a child trying on Dad's clothes. Add to that a storyline which is basically little more than hyper-masculine fantasy and you've wasted 90 minutes of your life that you can't get back.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsSuperfly has a slick production and tries desperately to be cool but comes off a bit empty. The movie has a lot going on. Mexican drug lords, local druglords, corrupt police, etc. It tries to jam too much in the story and as a result the pacing is off and everything becomes jumbled. If you’re hoping for the next re-creation of shaft you’ll be disappointed. The lead actor is OK but does not have as much charm as he could’ve had. It’s an average film all around with one dimensional characters.
