I think this movie is just good fun. Yes, it's very tropey, and it literally spoils itself, but that's part of the fun. Not a very scary movie, it's actually pretty tame, but I'd break it out for some friends at a Halloween party.

**Tarot – 2.5 Stars** *You’ll need a flashlight for this one.* *Tarot* feels like one of those movies where the concept sounds great at a party but falls apart in execution. I went in with low expectations, and thankfully, it didn’t dip *below* those—but it never rose much above either. The biggest issue? It’s shot so ridiculously dark, you spend more time squinting than screaming. Kills happen mostly off-screen or in murky shadows, and that totally drains the tension. The cast does an okay job, but the characters are bland and their endless talking in the dark gets old *fast*. There *are* some clever ideas sprinkled in—just enough to keep it from being a total waste—but the atmosphere never gets under your skin. Not scary, not exciting, but not a complete disaster either. Honestly, give this to a different director with a better lighting setup, and you might actually have something worth flipping a card over.

Tarot is just a crappy copy of other horror movies with teenagers who start dying one at a time, some things can be saved here like the very creative deaths. Rating 5.0

Tarot has a pretty interesting premise however the nice sounding premise is quickly ruined by being turned into a generic and mediocre horror flick with a bunch of overdone horror tropes, like stupid teens/college kids that make a mistake and end up being offed one by one thanks to poor decision making, cheap jump scares, the kids going to a old lady for help, etc and don't forget the weak and laughable death scenes (although i felt like Paige's death is one of the few good parts of a otherwise unremarkable horror flick) overall out of 100 i would give this movie a 23

A good slasher that while is PG-13, is still good and definitely over hated. My one issue is the script bits it is a very good otherwise. The characters are your classic tropes of characters in a horror movie but they feel better than normal. I love the premise as I love tarot and the monsters and kills are beautiful and so well done. If they fixed the script I could love this but it’s till good otherwise despite it.

I watched this film after seeing all of the reviews, that being said, this movie is still terrible. Tarot fails to make any sort of character development and gives you the most paper-thin characters to be killed off. The logic of the narrative and the character decisions make absolutely no sense, and the cutaway kills are a painful tease of what could only be a marginally better movie at best.

The monster designs are awesome. Story was eh. Would make for a great watch at home.

Probably the worst movies I’ve ever seen, terrible final destination ripoff, the jump scares we’re so boring, no good suspense. Only one funny character. Such a bland plate of nothing movie, could of been a 10 min short film.

It's honestly i have never felt this disappointed in my life. Bad writting, almost like you put no effort for the script and just make up storyline based on your "fav" actors/actress and kill the rest. Cliche jump scares, boring storyline, disappointing ending. Waste of my 90 minutes time
