Not my favorite visual style because of the filter-like look, but the story is solid.

This is a brave and revelatory drama that exposes the double-standards of conventional and sexual life customary of women to serve to men in the Iranian capital, which provides particularly startling insight behind the sexual submission and lack of freedom they must endure. The storytelling, subject and characters are matched in their excellence with the rotoscope animation, which adds to the films originality and makes it visually realistic and alluring. A great film.

What a sad life Iranians live due to their horrible government. It's so sad. Everyone is miserable

For someone who born & live in Tehran, this is a very unusual and fantasy like movie. Public relations, people clothes, police behavior, night parties, courts, super insulting language and etc, shown that the director Ali Soozandeh was away from his country for more than 25 years, not only physically! but also he seems never research about Iran! When I compare this movie ( If we can call it! ) with some hollywood movies like Argo by B.Afleck, The Argo is more acceptable! As a reformist Iranian, this movie is absolute waste! full of lies and miss information about Tehran City...Of course rotoscoping is very suited for this movie.
