Who’d have thunk it? Mind blowing and surprisingly complex as it unravels to resemble a spy thriller complete with spies, communists, traitors, and double crosses. Anyone familiar with Tetris or video games, in general, should see this.

Great movie regarding one of the most popular games of all time.

The "true" and amazing backstory of Tetris isn't nearly as simple, nor innocent as the game itself, as told in this overwritten film, that felt like a puzzle at times.

Freaking beautiful, who knew that Tetris had such a rich and controversial history! Taron Egerton kills it, he grounds Henk Rogers so much and makes the character empathetic and robust, he’s just trying to support his family but gets lost in the sauce. His intense tunnel vision towards his goal is so admirable, I would have literally not gotten a fraction as far as him which would explain why I’m not a millionaire game developer. The rest of the cast is awesome, Nikita Yefremov is perfect as Egerton’s wing partner, the purity of their friendship really shines. Yes! Another movie that shows how you can succeed with the power of friendship! Obviously the story exaggerates facts, it’s a movie obviously. There are definitely some plot holes but even with the nonstop traveling and changing time zones, the pacing is great. It speeds up towards the climax, like a Tetris game. The apex of emotions represent the Terris blocks lining up and giving points, I feel like it’s beautifully written in that aspect however can see how it wouldn’t go over well with some people. The over encompassing feel of the movie is so uplifting. The remixed Tetris music and the pixelated high action scenes blend so together…. It’s like they fit perfectly in place…. Like Tetris!!! I GET THE MOVIE! Much like the game itself, this film is simple and complex in all the best ways. Highly recommend.

This was great. I did not really know what to expect but found it to be well worth the watch. And the crazy fact is that its based on a true story. Wow is all I have to say that this really happened. The flow of the movie worked very well and I feel it was well written.

It feels more like an action movie than a true story. Keeps you connected the whole time

Del boom de los dramas corporativos del 2023 este, además de ser de los primeros, es de los que mejor parado sale porque se enfoca más en ser una película entretenida y que una históricamente correcta.

I had no idea the drama involved in getting this game published, it really was a thrilling movie which had me gripping my seat at times, the twists and turns kept the pacing of the movie enjoyable and i loved the retro feel in certain parts. All in all it was a great movie esoecially if you have any interest in video games.
