I love the movie very much. I love Bal Thackeray shaab 😍😍😍😍😍

Most of the movie stays in BW format before the interval. The movie fails to create any justification with the titular character. The storyline deviates from the actual plot without a moral. Lack of songs and single Background Score also brings down an entire movie. Although the dialogues and screenplay was commendable. Actor Nawazuddin gives one of the career best performace on the celluloid. Amrita Rao fails to make her cameback. Direction was also above average and some parts were applaudable.

The acting of nawaz was super. But the movie dosnt have much work with supporting characters and also it's too slow. Let's divide movie in following Plot : plot was average. It dosnt roll on on other aspect than nawaz Acting : only one person managed the story it's nawaz Background music : most of movie dosnt have back ground music but at some part avg Camerawork and direction : director could focus on other characters than nawaz. Camera work in black and white was good but director made movie slow, he could have done more interesting manner

Apart from Nawazuddin's stellar performance, other aspects of this movie is not upto the mark! Screenplay, Direction, Editing all failed to create the much needed impact especially when it's based upon a real life character who was known for his impacts in the society! Being a Bio Pic it doesn't really show the life cycle of Balasaheb Thackeray, Instead it complies all the achievements and incidents that happened in his era! It looked just like any other TV made documentary. Nothing extraordinary in it That I expected from a Thackeray Biopic. That it should have been.

Trying to make a extremist to a hero.

The movie seemed bland and lacked any suspense whatsoever. It was also monotonous as well as predictable. Nawazuddin did ok but other performances were sloppy, particularly, Amrita Rao's performance was pathetic. Overall, this movie is not worth your time.

Nawazuddin's performance as Thackeray is wonderful. The storytelling could've been improved though. The events in this film are shown as is and the writer in no way has tried to change the facts which is commendable. The supporting performances could've been better but not bad a film to watch.
