The Accountant

Totally ridiculous plot, much of which is incomprehensible, glorifying frauds and murderers, who in the end have a good heart. Pure crap.

The Accountant stare Ben Affleck in an action film that sometimes leads more on the drama then the action. Director Gavin O’Connor knows how to get the best out of his actors and there is no difference here. The only major issue is the storytelling/direction is a little all over the place at the beginning and middle. Then the film puts itself in high gear 2/3 of the way in and that’s when things get real good. J.K. Simmons chews up every scene he is in and does a good job in the supporting role. Jon Bernthal however sits most of this film out and only really shows up when it matters. Anna Kendrick probably shouldn’t even had been casted in this film because she is hardly utilized. The action is brutal and fast which also reminded me a lot of John Wick movie series. Overall this movie was really good and I can’t wait for the sequel. The Accountant gets a high 4 stars out of 5 from me.

An absolute mess of a movie, these people have no idea how to structure a film, not to mention the aspersions it casts on autism.

really good action movie

Original script and story, very interesting takes if you put all your focus on a single goal. I can smell the next installation coming soon, but I hope it won't dilute the action.

Great and smart movie! As a high functioning autistic as well, this movie was fresh air while stuck in a dank storage container. Great representation and very well written (yes I am capable of writing unfinished sentences:)

Not my usual type of movie I watch but did cause of the cast. Really enjoyed this and will watch the sequel as well

Waaaaaaaaaaay better than John Wick. This movie actually has a story and while some parts seem ridiculous it feels like it earns that ridiculousness with how good of a story it is. If you like John Wick I don't see why you wouldn't like this too.

Excellent movie! It can be a little confusing at times, and in the beginning. But, bit by bit the story comes together. And then towards the end of the movie, get ready for a surprise that you won't see coming! I highly recommend that you see this movie. 👍😊
