The Benchwarmers

This is your typical Happy Madison Productions comedy. It has some of Adam Sandler's crew of funny people who make some fun jokes. It is a quick, under 90-minute runtime. It has its fair share of low brow easy potty jokes. The charm comes from the bizarre characters these comedians are playing, but that is likewise it’s negative. These characters are so out there, that there is no way they could possibly exist. One grabs a burning hot potato and just holds onto it screaming. He has also somehow made it to 30 and has never spoken to a female. In the end, I can't get behind the main crux of the film. Simply put, kids who aren't good at baseball, don't want to play baseball.

Filme ruim, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas de comédia são fracas, o elenco é mais ou menos, e ninguém ajudou a melhorar o filme, a história é fraca, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e mais relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom, e eu não recomendo esse filme.

What were the critics smoking when they reviewed this? Do they not like baseball or comedy? It does both really well! Rob Schneider, David Spade, and Jon Heder are so funny

Boy, this Happy Madison Production was a tough one to watch.

A cute, easy laugh movie with a simple message and a decent amount of gross out humor type chuckles.

One of the best baseball movies that I keep coming back to. Funny and relaxing. 5 stars.

I thought it was clever and funny. It's like The Bad News Bears meets The Three Stooges.
