I knew what i was getting when I went into this film. It's a Vince Vaughn film, you're getting Vince Vaughn. How good this film will seem likely depends on how much you like Vince Vaughn because it really is a character piece.

The Break-Up wishes to follow the tropes of a rom-com, with its touch of a realistic situation a couple may fear. It should be expected from the title, what the movie is about, even if you wish to relief yourself with an pleasant ending you are rather left questioning the movie's whole integrity.

Filme bacaninha, o roteiro é mais ou menos, as cenas são bacaninhas, o elenco é bacana, e alguns ajudam a melhorar a porra do filme, a história é mais ou menos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e mais relevantes.

The arguments are a mess. At first, it seems like Gary was the ‘Prick’ and irresponsible one but after the fights, Brooke seems to add more fuel to the fire. The ending left me a bit speechless. I thought this was like most conception of any break up movies. They would separate and continue their relationship, however they left it as it is and moved on.

It's 106 minutes of enduring Vince Vaughn being unbearable on screen, one of the worst characters of his career, I expected something that wasn't there, unfortunately because the film had potential.

BOY is this not funny. And you're basically watching these actors be themselves. Skip it.

Funny as hell while feeling very believable! Great cast I have watched this movie many times over the years.

If you’re looking for a romantic comedy, this isn’t it. It’s more a depressing drama with hints of humor and no real payoff.
