The Collection is a horror film listed under two different titles, so I finally decided to check it off my watchlist. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge letdown. The movie clearly operates on a low budget, and while that’s not always a dealbreaker, it’s painfully obvious here. Some of the death scenes and setups felt like they were trying to channel Saw—and in a few moments, they came close—but overall, the film never hit the mark. What really dragged it down was the cinematography and lighting, which were just awful. The entire movie looked and felt cheap, making it hard to fully engage with the story. The editing was just as rough—choppy, awkward, and totally lacking in tension or rhythm. The acting didn’t help either. The cast did what they could with what they were given, but the script was weak across the board. Because of that, the director seemed to be stretching to make something meaningful happen, but it just never came together in any cohesive or compelling way. In the end, The Collector was a flat, uninspired mess. It wasn’t scary, it wasn’t thrilling, and it was honestly tough to sit through—in a bad way, not a so-bad-it’s-good kind of way. It’s one of those movies I’ll never revisit and wouldn’t recommend. Skip it.

Its a terrible movie given the fact that its a sequel to The Collector.

Where the Collector was Home Alone meets Saw, the Collection is Resident Evil meets Saw. Still some good kills but same old bad CGI.

This movie has been my favorite since I was smaller, I think this puts me in a position where most "horror" movies aren't even scary anymore, if I'm being true. they often disappoint me. This movie is so well made and they weren't afraid to show us everything they've got! they gave us death party, artificial zombies, demon dogs, traitors, fire, and even more. although, I would say that this movie is NOT for the weak minded, but I would love a remake of this movie or more types like this.

Pretty good. The brash, young American character, Billy, is obnoxious.

While not being as fresh as the first, it still offers a lot with a good lead character, awesome traps, brutal gore effects and pretty satisfying ending.

Over 10 years old and I saw it on a whim without knowing anything about it Patrick Melton and Marcus Dustain write and direct with a few of the writers from the 'Saw' franchise A follow up to the Collector; it involved a vicious serial killer setting up elaborate traps in victims' homes, a robber got caught in the middle of it all and managed to escape This picks up after the first movie's events where the Collector eludes the authorities not knowing where he'll strike next Elena is the main focus here going to a party at a nightclub with her friends after her boyfriend cancels on her It's a fun night but quickly turns into a blood-fueled nightmare as the killer has concocted another set of deadly traps with Elena trapped inside It's up to a couple mercenaries and former thief, Arkin to infiltrate and rescue her The film was fun if forgettable The first movie I heard wasn't good it was more mean spirited Not a lot of big name actors except Christopher McDonald as Elena's father But this woman Emma Fitzpatrick is really good as Elena The kills are bloody and creative with some likable characters when it comes to the mercenaries A cool idea yet it feels like it's reaching too much like the Saw movies
