The Darkest Hour

You can say the effects are cheap, the story is bad and the characters don’t act well, but the movie is entertainment from start to end, and it’s fun see how the story develops

LOVED this movie! It started strong and maintained that tension until the end. It was very thrilling, and the story had great pacing. If you love apocalyptic science fiction, it’s an absolute must-watch!

This is one of the best movies ever made, I don't know who those stupid critics are who are talking crap about this movie, it's a one of a kind movie, recently there was a movie called Quiet Place which is based on this one but it still gets good reviews, but this master piece series ended just because the west hates Russia, how hypocritical.

How to make an alien invasion movie on $30 and a plastic submarine is the main story behind this atrocious bit of tat.......no expensive costumes or CGI for these guys as the aliens are invisible.....pure genius for the budget but for the viewing public I expect most wanted the aliens to win quickly, kill the abysmal cast and bring up the ending credits as fast as possible.

I saw this movie a long time ago and couldn't remember if it was any good. So I watched it again. It's terrible. Had potential, but man it's a bad movie.

I liked the movie, seemed intense, lots of action, acting wasn't bad.

Worst ever. I know the effects were bad but, I am bothered by only one thing. THE DEATH OF A DOG. WHY. WHY. IT COULD HAVE BEEN 3 STARS IF THAT DID NOT HAPPEN.

It happened so swiftly; no time for any logic or common sense, but at least it's good cheap B-grade suspense. Not that bad...

Minha opinião: Um filme de 2012. Um estilo de filme de invasão alienígena tipo B. Se olharmos por este prisma, um filme razoável. Pois não é uma produção ao estilo #independeceday Uma atuação razoável dos atores. Já inventaram todo tipo de alienígena, mas este superou, que é a base eletricidade. Já fizeram de luzes, água, som, predador, alien,..... Começa com estranhas luzes vindo do céus. E essas luzes são tipo eletricidade, e quando você toca ele te desentrega. E assim a raça humana foi quase que desimada. Salvando apenas alguns. Que aos poucos vão descobrindo suas fraquezas. Um diálogo fraco, roteiro fraco, efeitos fracos.
