The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie

Very dumb and frustrating writing. Laughed maybe once or twice, but was constantly rolling my eyes and almost everything that happened in this movie. Seems more made for kids who will just like it because it's a cartoon. And yes, I did watch Looney Tunes as a little kid. But I am no longer a little kid.

Forming an opinion is tricky. I can only acknowledge the director’s love for the Looney Tunes—it clearly shows in this film, which is incredibly respectful of the original spirit. And I also recognize that, in a way, it’s quite a feat: it’s the only 2D animated film we’ll see in all of 2025. Unfortunately, the story just isn’t compelling enough and feels overly stretched. It’s like a 45-minute TV special that was unnecessarily doubled in length. You can’t really tell if it’s meant for kids or nostalgic adults—it doesn’t fully check either box. It’s fun at first, but you quickly lose interest and forget about it as soon as it ends.

This is you typical, good time Looney Tunes movie. It has some over the top story, great one liner jokes, and some bombastic cartoon "violence". The story struggles a little and I personally thought the movie was a little longer than it needed to be but overall a good time

This was a classic looney toons movie, daffy and porky just like the good all days.

I love how this movie didn't need cameos by a bunch of other Looney Tunes characters ala Space Jam. That's because the story was good. Porky, Daffy, Petunia and a good story. Can't wait for Coyote vs Acme.

This movie is funny and well made! I love that it's 2-D animation, like I grew up with. The plot also keeps my attention and made me smile.

It started off good but then got too long and lost my interest. Even my kids said same thing. Lost intrest in the movie after 20 mins. Plus would have been good to see the other looney tune characters.

It was delightful to see some old friends again, bringing back great memories from my childhood. Still, this movie would me much improved if: ***it was zanier and more chaotic ***it has included at least cameos from more of the gang ***it had included Marvin the Martian instead of the Invader ***it had less creepy monsters than the pink goo and zombies ***less plausible killing of monsters than a FLAMEGUN! ***a less messianic Farmer Jim
