I liked this movie. Some more action would be great, and a bit less talking.

A nice action thriller nothing fancy nor spectacular but is entertaining.

Maybe this may have been a film worth watching had they Erased the daughter from this movie. Or maybe they could have killed her off very early and added a revenge factor to the story. As it is the only thing you feel is pity for having to deal with such a horrible daughter...and I mean pity for the audience.

A decent to good movie. Its a little derivative and shows its hand too soon but it held my attention and was worth a watch on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Eckhart is a reliable and quality actor who pretty much carries this film himself with his performance. Eckhart is always a good watch (even if the movies he's in sometimes aren't that impressive) and the rest of the cast are mostly good (Olga Kurylenko especially). The daughter, however, can be quite irritating but that's due more to the way the part was written rather than the actress playing her. Anyway, not stellar but largely effective and well made despite it being naggingly reminiscent of several other movies.

As by the books as you can get.

The start was ok, the remedy would have needed a little more dramaturgy. The ending was pretty weak and most of the scenes were predictable.

Roteiro: Bem feito. Vale apena assistir? Sim Nota: 7,75

Erased or Expatriot or whatever (more than one name is usually a bad sign) is an exciting, if flawed, thriller. Yes, the plot is warmed over from many many other flicks. Yes, as the plot is revealed, the writing gets a bit weaker, and there are some odd character choices. Eckhart, despite a lot of his work, just doesn't strike me as a leading man type, but maybe that choice was on purpose so he can play an 'anyman' type of character (with a certain set of skills). But still, the film grabs you with his life getting erased, and then keeps the tension for most of the film.

Ridiculous writing. A A Ron is great as always. The person cast as his daughter is the dumbest and most annoying character and actor ever watched. Painful.
