Very surprised by these reviews. I absolutely loved it. Target audience reached. This movie is so cute, the characters had real personalities, it makes me feel fuzzy and warm and like this is what life is about. It's adorable and real. Loved. Made an account just to say this.

Amazon for the win showing this junk.

There are some good ideas in here and I like a few cast members, with Constance Wu standing out, but a few of the side plots lacked and some of the dialogue is rough. That made this fine but disappointing.

#MeninasMulherApaixonadas

Did not care about any of these characters at all!

It was honestly awful. The movie was boring, no real resolution, and for once I didn't want the gay couple together.

This was a movie I decided to watch as a queer girl searching for an actual quality lesbian film on Netflix and I'm clearly disappointed. What is the moral of the story? That it's okay to stay in a relationship where you don't fix any serious issues? Maybe it's that some lesbians don't orgasm? Or is it just that even though you find out you're partner has lied to you the whole relationship about having an orgasm, your friends will prefer that you get verbally berated into staying with them instead of moving on. Either way this movie just adds stigma that no lesbian movie can just be about an unproblematic healthy relationship, which is unrealistic but when every lesbian movie shows a toxic relationship where one partner just isn't satisfied it leaves others feeling like a healthy lesbian partnership doesn't exist. Most of the movie was awkward, confusing, and filled with questions about the characters that don't get answered. The title should have really been called "The Fuck-ups" and the jokes should have at least been somewhat digestible with such a confusing storyline.

I love how Andi and Lu express love

The film left a bit to be desired, however the comedic tone and easy chemistry between Trimbur and Wu make this an enjoyable watch, and as a young queer women, quite a reassuring message.

A very sweet lesbian romcom that seems like it actually had some queer people involved in its creation! Constance Wu is (as always) fantastic
