Wonderful story about the battles that faced the Bean family in the early 1900's in Palmyra, NY and how they turned a community of hatred into love

This movie is so sad. It is a great movie though.

Noticeably low budget, but heartfelt. Has its powerfully redeeming moments. Almost runs like an extended Church short film, but a bit better.

This was a totally contrived, pandering piece of mediocrity. Formulaic and horribly predictable. The acting is stiff and void of chemistry. By stark contrast, the Fighter with Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale, Cinderella Man with Russell Crowe or even Rocky with Sylvester Stallone would be a exceedingly better use of one's time. Hard pass.

One of the best LDS movies I have seen - funny, touching, but still a bit slow

Excellent movie, based on a true story much needed in the world today. We all could learn more about how to help others and strengthen our fellow men and women. If you already missed it in theaters, RENT it when it comes out!

Phenomenal story. I could watch this again and again! My kids absolutely loved it. So many topics of conversation each time we watch it. Met the producer last night and the theater applauded him. Can hardly wait to see the next story he tells!
