The Forge focuses on Isaiah Wright and his journey to finding his faith filled purpose in life. It starts off following a single mother and an irresponsible, disrespectful son who becomes discipled by the president of a sports equipment company. Themes of faith , perseverance and Godly love are present throughout the movie. With The discipleship offered by CEO Joshua and the support of his community , Isaiah’s character development throughout the movie emphasizes the impact of having a relationship with God and living righteously can have on us all. This movie is family friendly and does a great job of showing what true growth in all aspects of life looks like. I definitely recommend for those who are curious about faith, are on a growth journey , or simply need to be inspired by a feel good film. The directors do a great job of tying in themes of life & faith throughout the movie. The faith based themes of forgiveness and perseverance are strong throughout the movie, and If you do not like Christianity or would get offended by religious aspects this movie might not be for you. It’s forthright and often had scenes that would ruffle feathers if taken offensively. I also enjoyed the movie scoring and most of the acting, though I would say that some of the dialogue could’ve been better when representing the African American community. Overall I loved it !

It was an absolutely good movie, a good continuity of war room and had a perfect choice of music

Outstanding! I loved this movie and characters. Very realistic loving black mom and I loved the 19 y.o. character. This movie moved me so much I had to watch it twice. The Kendrick Brothers did a very good job with The War Room. This topped even that imo. Discipleship is something that could be in all churches. I laugh at the critics because they almost always say the opposite of us regular folks 🤣. Shows how much they know. Smh.

The message behind The Forge was solid, but honestly, it just didn't work as a movie. The acting felt kind of cheesy and over-the-top, and it came off more like a 2 hour church sermon than something made for the big screen. The part about giving up video games entirely was a bit much-- like, you could've just put them in a closet or taken a break. You don't have to give up everything you enjoy or spend every single second praying or reading the Bible to be a good Christian. That's not even what the Bible teaches. It had some pretty unrealistic moments too, and overall, I think this would've been better as a church message or youth group lesson instead of a film. I appreciate what they were trying to say, but it just didn't land for me.

I think this movie has such an amazing impact and I love how it includes full circle moments. I must admit that sometimes I find it difficult to get through times of conflict or tension in movies, but it was so worth it to keep watching. I really loved this movie and it is definitely one I will watch again.

The forge was amazing! The timing was perfect for me and I also learnt a lot of biblical things that I'd need to remember. At first it was kinds slow but I'm glad I watched till the end. I 2 million % recommend. Don't loose hope. Jesus loves you
