Terrible. Slow. Pointless. Do not waste your time.

It is good to see movies without the too popular CGI overkill, and too much noise and background music but the patience to give the actors room to act. Although the story does not develop at a great speed it does not get boring and the movie does not get lost in too many details. Overall there is a slight suspension of how everything is going to turn out and the script does not give a clue if it will be in a good or bad way. Great performance by Ralph Fiennes.

Well acted with a few good scenes but on the whole its culture clash falls back on obvious observations and predictable narrative beats.

I found this a really thought-provoking watch. Great performances.

I had the opportunity of watching this in theaters in 2021 and I would like to say it was one of the best movies of that year. The film did a great job of making you hate the main characters in the beginning but as the story unfolded and our main character took on this journey you can see their development on the screen as they change around them and how their actions affected them in the long run. With themes of Wealth, adulterous acts, murder, and self-redemption this 2-hour film will leave you feeling full! If you haven't gotten a chance to see this film then I highly recommend you do so.

Well, with Ralph Fiennes and Jessica Chastain in the leading roles one would expect an outstanding movie, but soon one realizes that it is mainly a lot of bullshit chit-chat to fill up movie time around the main story. It's partly intriguing, but soon you will find yourself skipping more and more scenes to only watch what one could consider important parts. The very end is quite predictable as it is idiotic as well. 2/10 points.

    Bit disjointed, solidly acted

Pretty bad, wasted two hours on this one (no actually I bailed with about 15 minutes left) Pretentious, self-righteous drivel about so-called western "privilege", moralizing in the worst way and acting that was cringe-worthy. I can't forgive this one, sorry.
