The Gentlemen
audience Reviews
, 84% Audience Score- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsGuy Ritchie perfects his unique blend of British grit and wit in this stylish crime drama. With an ensemble cast in their prime and a compelling love letter of a script, The Gentlemen submerges you into the powerful underground business of weed distribution and the colorful characters that it produces. This is Guy Ritchie at his best and unfortunately has yet to be topped with his more recent additions. The Gentlemen churns out raw and visceral emotions that build into a most satisfying final act that leaves you wanting more. The only thing keeping this being a full 5-star film is the British rapper segments.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsBuena película, muy entretenida
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsFast paced and tons of action. A fun watch overall.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGuy Richie back to his phucin' best. I would love to see a sequel to this masterpiece. We really don't get movies like this anymore.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThe storytelling was really bad and unnecessary. Good movie, though
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsYou will need a lobotomy to enjoy this. I have deliberately avoided guy ritchie films but I'd gone to get the pizza and my nipper snuck it on and I didn't want the pizza to get cold while he chose something else. After finishing the pizza I tidied up, did the washing up and took out the bins all to the tune of c*** and f*** ect knowing that if I did want to return to the movie it would take only a few moments to pick up the plot (and I use that term loosely) Your average you tube commercial has for more artistic merit than this. I'm sorry for my fellow humans who fall into the same trap I did with this one.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsIf you enjoy Guy Ritchie movies, the you will no doubt love this one. Script is solid, plot is great, and the action is fantastic. The cast itself was stellar. McConauhgy is superb, Ferrell is fantastic, and the rest are excellent. A definite fun watch.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsOne of my favourite movies. Deliciously devious and gangster as hell. Do yourself a favour and watch it.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsGuy Ritchie is back. Haven't felt like this after watching one of his films since Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, Snatch & Rock n Rolla. And the cast was absolutely perfect. Especially loved Farrell's performance.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsProper Guy Richie style! He does well weaving a story the captures the contemporary underworld grasping with an inevitable end of prohibition with all the gloriously & cheeky London characters- who find themselves caught up in all sort of schemes and deeds. The language, the delivery, the set up, the music... it's fun, thrilling and captivates much like Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch.
