The Girl From the Naked Eye
audience Reviews
, 21% Audience Score- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsAsian crime drama. Guy goes hunting down who killed his girl... had potential, but I found this boring and easily forgettable.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsO filme é bem divertido quando não tenta ser mais esperto do que é, e as cenas de luta são muito boas.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsok at best. a few decent fight scenes. a few naked titties and blood gore. good time filler and a less then solid watch. ..
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsnot bad, good fight scenes, i felt it lack story
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsAn interesting noir thriller, The Girl from the Naked Eye has an impressive visual style but lacks a bit in storytelling. When a call girl is found murdered her driver sets out for revenge and turns on his bosses in order to find those responsible. It's a rather formulaic plot and the characters are the usual stereotypes. But this is made up for by the fight sequences, which bring a lot of energy to the film (though the fights start to become a little too choreographed). The Girl from the Naked Eye doesn't have much originality, but it's entertaining and has a creative aesthetic.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsAwesome hallway fight scene reminiscent of Old Boy. "In its moments of sometimes comically violent antagonism, the movie shows some flashes of genre pizzazz." "There's a lot to like about the action film "The Girl From the Naked Eye," especially some crisp martial arts fight sequences and the subtle sense of humor that surfaces now and then." It's strange that Sasha Grey is on the cover, she has only a very brief cameo.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsInteresting crime novel movie
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsA movie that doesn't know what it wants to be crossing all genres. The best segments are the songs played during the fight sequences, martial arts to Bolero!
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsThe shit I put myself through in hopes of great action.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsA very stylish low budget noir film from a talented new director. Nothing about the film is terrific, but it's full of so much dedication that it's hard to not enjoy it. The acting is pretty atrocious, but once again it's hard not to admire the heart put in to this. A fun, silly, entertaining little escapade.
