The Gray Man
audience Reviews
, 90% Audience Score- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLoved this. The action, the cast, the effects, the whole show was brilliant. Love this cast.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsChris Evans is a joy to watch having a whale of a time playing a psycho of 90s-Oldman proportions. Otherwise this film is totally forgettable action sludge. How many times do you want to repeat the "mortally wounded person does a thing" trope? Surely not 3 times in the same film. I almost fell asleep during one of the action set pieces. I miss the days when Ryan Gosling only made cool films.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI couldn't stop watching the movie!
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsSometimes a bit corny and predictable but other than that one of the best action movies I've seen in a long time. Great fight scenes, lots of stuff gets blown up - no complaints!
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsAn interesting film resembling a James Bond and Mission Impossible film. The action packed film with remarkable stunts places this film in a very likeable category. Chris Evans plays a likeable crazy hired to take care of the CIAs mess; psychotic to say the least. While Ryan Gosling does a good job with his character in this good story line, he makes this work. Billy Bob Thronton, plays a good character as the "spook" finder and developer. His Uncle role within the plot is decent and entertaining. This film will never cater to a Nobel Peace prize, nor an Oscar, it's a likeable and entertaining story and worth the while to watch. It's not James Bond nor Mission Impossible or other franchise spy flicks, but it is a good entertaining film of difference.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars2 hours and 9 minutes of action. Rated PG-13 for Strong Violence and Strong Language!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Originally released on the Netflix streaming service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsIt was alright, but I wouldn't watch it again...
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSo entertaining , amazing and thrilling to watch.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsSubtlety and nuance are apparently lost on the Russo brothers. For anyone addicted to mindless violence who thinks Michael Bay is the epitome of film making excellence, this is your gig. But aside from cliche villains, gratuitous explosions, endless gunfire and general mayhem, this movie is basically mental chewing gum. "Suspension of disbelief" is one thing, but this requires giving yourself a lobotomy to get through it. Billie Bob Thornton and Ryan Gosling must have needed the payday. This has sequel written all over it, but if the gods are merciful it will never come to pass.
- Rating: 1.5 out of 5 starsMeh. This was too boring & cliched in all the way. Giving one and a half star for Ana.
