It was intense, stressful & long winding; most of the time you have no idea what is happening just too much emotional. "The Call" is much better from entertainment point of view, it just 1 man show from start to end, rest cast went MIA.

Jake is the worst 911 operator ever...

Worth watching for a laugh, but I don't think that's what they were going for.

    Melodramatic nonsense.

Only Jake Gyllenhaal has the acting chops to keep this movie afloat. surprisingly suspenseful.

Eh, boy this started off good then derailed fast. Starts as a good thriller with a subplot we're trying to figure out, then gets caught in a quagmire 911 phone call that goes on far too long. Insufferable by the end.

A very up and down 911 thriller. I’d recommend The Call over this one. The plot just isn’t as stimulating and the tone is inconsistent. Gyllenhaal has some good scenes as always, but the film goes in a different direction than expected. Might be worth checking out once, but any second viewing will go to The Call
