The Haunting of Sharon Tate

Don't just look at real-life tragedies and try to exploit them...the ending is just so atrocious.

[A] run-of-the-mill home invasion thriller, and while Farrands is a solid genre craftsman - as evidenced by his similarly creepy true-crime film from earlier this year, "The Amityville Murders" - his taste remains suspect.

The film is appalling from start to finish.

Unfathomably bad...

It's far too early to call this the worst movie of the year. But if it's not, it's going to be a rough 2019.

The Haunting of Sharon Tate deserves the instant obscurity for which it is certainly destined.

Ultimately doesn't work as either as a home invasion movie, or as a documentary. What it really feels like is true-crime fanfiction with a lofty but misguided concept.

It's a shame spiral all the way to the bottom of the barrel. You can make your own helter skelter jokes.
