Unlike most of the reviews I thought it was good! I mean it wouldn’t win any awards but it was funny and definitely worth a watch!

A boring and slow paced movie! Not worth the two hours.

I loved the chemistry of the actors, but hated the ending!

We had never heard of this movie - so went in with ZERO expectations... and was quickly immersed into a quirky, heart-warming tale of a midwestern (?) family who have every reason to give up, but keep fighting. It's a "small" story with a fantastic ensemble cast who really make the small personal moments feel real and poignant. Overall - it doesn't break any new ground in the indie world... but it was very entertaining and the pacing was great. There were some predictable life events - but that's what made it a good movie. This film reminds me of ULEE'S GOLD - another small independent movie that had an idea and theme, and carried it through to the end. It's a smart movie well worth your time. It is a bit sentimental which some may find sappy - but we really enjoyed it.

It may be true that the plot is predictable but the actors make it worth checking out. The 4 main characters and members of the Hollar family are superb! Each bring so much depth and love to their characters, seriously amazing actors. It really did make me laugh and make me cry…what more do u need?

This film touched my heart. It had an amazing ability to go from quite funny to so dramatic, tears could happen. Every actor did a really good job making this believable.

Overly sentimental for my tastes, but Sharlto Copley and Charlie Day are really, really funny. The soundtrack is too repetitious.

Sunday rainy movie, typical lovable dysfunctional family getting through their lives. Some funny, some sentimental, overall cute. Good not great, but OK to keep around for a later watching.
