The Invisible Raptor
audience Reviews
, 88% Audience Score- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI couldn't make it past the first 10 minutes. Weak acting, weak script, and weak effects.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsI honestly can’t figure out where the positive reviews are coming from. This is the worst movie I’ve ever seen, and not in a good cheesy sci-fi way. It’s not funny, it’s not entertaining, it’s an hour too long… it’s just bad in every way. I don’t get how people can give this movie anything other than 1 star, I really don’t. It’s like they simultaneously tried too hard and didn’t try at all. It’s nothing like Sharknado and not even remotely close to the same level.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLOL, 1 hour and 54 minutes of horror comedy. Rated R for Drug Use, Bloody Violence and Gore, Crude Sexual Material and Brief Graphic Nudity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsFunny stupid. Appreciated the spoofs.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI'm not a big fan of dumb-fun movies, but this was surprisingly hilarious. It knows what it is and never strays from it. A goofy homage to classic 80s/90s monster movies with an impressive cast of "hey it's that guy" actors who actually have the comedic talent to make the jokes land. Sure the plot is dumb and the monster is IMPOSSIBLY smart, but I actually had a lot of fun watching it. If you're look for something not serious that tickles your nostalgia, give it a chance.
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsMichael Capes and Sean Astin (cameo) star in this film, which runs for 1 hour and 53 minutes. The film begins with promising fun, but gradually dies on its own death, with invisible dinosaur, referred to as raptor throughout. There is no seeing of a raptor in physical form since it entirely follows the title, saving the producers money on CGI. However, the audience is blasted with brutal killings, such as heads, limbs, legs, bellies being pulled off, and eyeballs being gouged out. The film is overly lengthy, and while there are some funny scenes and humorous punchlines, that is all there is. The ending also hints at a possible sequel if the film was successful, although I doubt it. The movie's insensitive take on children by adults also put me off.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsRight! What to say?!!
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI went into this movie absolutely blind, and expected nothing more than a silly nod to Jurassic Park, but it’s so much more than that. It was honestly done so well, from the writing to the acting, and especially the musical nods to the Jurassic Park soundtrack were done super well. Really excited it ended on a cliffhanger. I want more invisible raptor! I was smiling ear to ear and cackling almost the entire film. Give it a shot.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 starsSo funny my side hurt!
