I can't believe Michael Jai White made this horrible movie. So cheesy. Bad acting, dialog and fight scenes. He must have really needed a paycheck.

Why on earth does he go from speaking full American to then speaking semi Jamaican depending on who he's talking to?? Confusing and is a stretch to say anything but nope!!

I wanted to like this but it was bland. It used dramatic music to try and build tension without earning it, neither boring nor exciting. Someone wrote 'it is what it is', and it was what it was. Not the worst movie I've seen but I wouldn't recommend it particularly.

It is what it is, a sunday afternoon family fun action film. One I would recommend

Truly awful film, acting is horrendous, plot is ridiculous, all in all terrible

entertaining, but the story was very bland and predictable. it felt like a 1980s action movie, written by a middle schooler... it can be enjoyable as a comedy at how badly the story plays out. kind of like "the room" there's even a "oh hi Mark" moment with one of the islanders. :D some good actors here and there (the police chief and the main villain), but many of the main characters are acted poorly... Michael Jai White might be the next Steven Seagal. he even runs a bit like him.

This is a very bad movie with very bad looking actors. Easily under 30% Rotten Tomatoes rating.

Michael Jai White makes some great movies. I love the fact that some of his movie he has his wife play in them. She also is a great actor. You guys keep doing a great job

Really fun classic revenge flick with a surprising amount of heart ❤️ Michael Jai is stoic and absolutely kicks major ass as usual, his real life wife Gillian turns in a fantastic performance in here as well. Jackson Rathbone is surprisingly funny in the film but my one gripe is we didn't get more of him. Edoardo Costa is also deliciously wicked as the movies villain. Lastly the island itself is a gorgeous setting.
