- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 starsThe movie was well done and interesting. Kept me entertained up to the very end. Unfortunately it's one of those movies without an ending. Grrr.
- Rating: 4.5 out of 5 starsVery spooky! The cinematography, music, and storyline really scared me.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThis was a movie that was recommended on a TikTok account, and I had high hopes of enjoying it. I kept waiting for it to get good, and eventually the movie was over and I was mad at myself for sitting through the whole thing.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 starsThis was a tender sad movie and Jenkins' performance was subtle and heart-breaking. I had hoped that they'd find a connection at the end (and maybe they will) but it was probably right that it ended as it did. I appreciated that it didn't go for the obvious American ending even though it left me feeling disappointed…it's life…
- Rating: 3 out of 5 starsRichard Jenkins plays a thirty plus year fast food employee who is on the verge of retiring and begins training his replacement, a young African American looking to turn his life around from past mistakes. Jenkins, as always, puts on a fine and believable performance. I enjoyed this film and the relationship built between the two unlikely friends. Ed O'Neill costars as well.
- Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI mean I kinda liked it, it passed the time. But I don't get the whole point of the movie, there was no story to it, just a couple struggling to get by. And a guy that deserved a lot more after 38 years of service. Basically just a "Discrimination" movie mentioning race n such.
- Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars"Slice of life" movie dealing with several issues in a naturalistic way. Old age, small town life, racial tension, immigration, family disagreements, poverty and the need to start over all were competently portrayed, but it didn't really engage me as much as necessary to get a higher ranking. I'm really not quite sure where the "comedy" part came in.
- Rating: 0.5 out of 5 starsThe premise was good, the movie itself was not
- Rating: 2.5 out of 5 starsA strange movie, but at times quite funny.
