The Last Stop in Yuma County

Great, original and suspenseful movie.

Brief character study without much depth, in the style of Coen Brothers and Tarantino. Lacks memorable dialogue and scenes.

It's hard to make 1-setting thrillers work - but Yuma County does. Bank Robbers, empty gas stations and diners made for a good place for Galluppi to keep turning the plot.

This is a comedy. It is a caricature of a mystery and offers clever stereotypes for a light thriller. It is fun to watch for the parody aspect. Enjoy!

Films like this this don't come around that often. Great story, acting, cinematography. Not familiar with the actors (who are great) but Richard Brake is a great character actor. The director is definitely one to watch.

Its not a fresh take. There are so many movies one can see capturing same idea.

Forced to wait for a fueling truck to arrive, several strangers are affected by the arrival of bank robbers. Oh, and there's no AC in the diner. One doesn't know about Carlsbad, one doesn't know about Rhubarb pie. Along with a wonderful opening song, that sets the tone for the film. This film went in a familiar but unexpected directions. It's a throwback to 70s crime thrillers with a touch of Cohen bros. I wasn't sure how it was gonna end. For a borderline low budget film ($1 mil) this is one of the best hidden gems I've ever viewed. Incredibly smart and quirky. Highly recommended. I'm in the mood for some rhubarb pie. Favorite exchange: "You can't do it without a tomato?" "No."

I often come to rotten tomatoes because trailers bury the reviewer. This one had a decent score so I watched and and I feel like it’s an hour and a half I’ll never get back.

A smart, sharply written thriller that keeps evolving as new elements are added. Well worth checking out.

Just so RT folk understand, a 2 star rating is bad. Last stop in blah blah blah is kinda boring, and mostly lacking in tension or clever twists. It has its moments that work, about 2 of them. The rest is bland and frankly uninspired.
